Description
The entire building, having a Latin cross shape, probably dates from the 11th century. The walls are built in mixed shale and granite blocks. The foothills seem to have been added later. The structure included a nave without collaterals, lit by small semicircular windows, widely set back. The transept, with two arms, is located at the northeast corner, where there is a turret housing the staircase leading to the tower above the crossroads, which saw its four semicircular arches replaced, in the Gothic era, by pointed arcs. The hooked capitals and the raised base bases, adorned with more or less flattened torus, suggests a construction at the end of the 13th or the beginning of the 14th century. The choir and the facades of the southern cross were modified in the 16th century, with the addition of a chapel south of the choir.
