Description
This house was the home of the Dukes of Brittany in the 14th century, where important documents were signed. After the construction of the Carmelite Convent, they settled there. Around the 15th century, the house was put up for sale. On the street, the facade has a stone base for the entire ground floor and wooden sections on the floors. The front door is surmounted by an eye of beef and flanked, on the left, a pilaster with a composite marquee. On the first floor, two large rectangular windows are integrated into the wooden section. The western facades show defensive characteristics with a bastion -shaped salient and circular hole loopholes. Inside, the parts are equipped with chimneys. The wooden outdoor staircase is spiral, and a gallery connects the pieces.
