Description
The house, built in 1586, displays a half -timbered wooden facade. The ground floor supports show two characters emerging from sheaths. On both sides of the entrance, on the left is a whole character, while at the right, two characters are superimposed. Above, modillions and consoles support the soles and traves parts, which are molded and decorated. Between the floor of the first floor and the edge of the windows, small figures were integrated into the amounts. All the elements of the wooden structure are carved. The sandstones, crosspieces and ends of joists are decorated with patterns such as eggs, grapes, hearts and acanthus leaves. This simple and naive style of sculpture is inspired by the classic Renaissance patterns. The term "Marmousets" refers to this facade decoration.
