Description
The Clunisian priory was established in 952. The construction of the church took place between the end of the 10th century and the 12th century. In the 15th century, the portal was renovated. From 1767 to 1790, the building intended for the house was rebuilt. During the Revolution, the buildings were sold as national goods and converted into housing, with the exception of the church which has become parish. Between 1825 and 1827, the bell tower was rebuilt. The tower dates from the 14th century and has retained most of its old openings. It is decorated with 17th century painted ornaments, testifying to its religious function. This decor was enriched in the 18th century by a fireplace adorned with rockery patterns, to which was added around 1820 a painting representing a caricatured figure.
