This 14th century stone, reused in a modern building, is said to come from the old Cloître de Saint-Jean in Perpignan. She wears the coat of arms of Alenya's family. A stone from Alenya was prior of the Dominicans in 1343. In addition, the fact that the street was previously called "rue des Jacobins" could indicate that this carved stone comes from a closer place than the Saint-Jean cloister. It is even very possible that it has been roughly in the same place.
