Description
According to tradition, King Philippe Le Hardi, returning from a campaign in Spain and suffering from a serious fever, died in this house in 1285. The most fascinating characteristic is the front door, which is semicircular and decorated with a beveled interior frame. The external frame is molded and is based on consoles. The only console that has been preserved is sculpted with two intertwined creatures, one having a lion's head with bat wings, and the other having the appearance of a bird.
