Description
The prisons of Caudebec, built in the 14th century along the city walls, consisted of two structures: the old prison itself, which was a rectangular stone building, on several levels, divided into cells, including a guard room and underground prisons, as well as a building on the street, called old bailiwick, located southwest of the prison, which was destroyed during the 1940 and 1944.
