Description
The building was erected in 1897 by the municipal architect Léon Carle. From the start, the trade located on the ground floor is a cheese dairy. The window is designed symmetrically, with a door in the center which gives way to two large panels. Inside, the walls are decorated with colored marbles and display rectangular stucco -shade panels. The ceiling, surrounded by a floral motif, consists of white ceramic tiles. The furniture includes white veined marble shelves, as well as two decorated displays and three simpler storage. The central space leads to the body, which is a large, finely made wooden structure, embellished with a clock at the top. The mechanical body, dating from 1900, is still in perfect working order. This type of realization is rare outside of Paris.
