In 1688, as the parish church was in ruins, Pierre Joseph de Laurens, Marquis de Brüe and Saint-Martin, agreed to finance the construction of a new building provided that the community contributes to the expense, and that a private chapel linked to its castle was integrated. The building has a single nave and side chapels in the south.
