Description
The tower was built in the 13th century by the Templars and included two bunk chapels (or a chapel overhung by a guards) with a flat roof. After the dissolution of the Templar Order in 1312, the chapel was given to the Knights of Malta, who rented it to different individuals until 1673, when it was transferred to the city. About in 1839, the interior was largely renovated and large semicircular windows were added to the East, North and South facades.
