Description
The castle was erected in the 18th century, with the exception of the northern pavilion, which is the rest of an older building. It consists of a central part flanked by two symmetrical side pavilions. Well preserved, it exhibits a sculpted decor (fire pots, floral patterns, hammered coat of arms) on the doors of the western and east facades. This castle is considered to be one of the most significant examples of the mid -18th century constructions. Its historical and architectural importance is accentuated by the precise dating of the building, made possible thanks to the chronogram present on the stairs and the archives concerning the construction of the chapel.
