Description
Property of Jean II Gaultron de la Bast, royal advisor at the end of the 17th century, then of several owners with charges at the court in the 18th century, the hotel was then taken in hand by the Creuzé family which recovers it after the revolution to welcome traders. Built at the end of the 16th century or at the beginning of the 17th century, probably on the site of a medieval building whose only cellars remain, this mansion was the subject in the 1730s of a development on Sully Street with small houses, partly or entirely reconstructed. The buildings at the bottom of the courtyard of this mansion, despite various works and renovations, have retained great authenticity compared to their original state (late 16th-early 17th). The houses along rue de Sully also kept many of their arrangements and arrangements dating from the 1730s.
