Description
On April 18, 1926, the mayor announced to the Municipal Council that the Committee of the Dead Monument selected the Gustave Violet sculptor's project: a granite portico with a statue representing a sandstone soldier in the Vosges. The cost of this monument amounts to 52,000 francs, while public collection has gathered 12,000 francs. The monument's reception report was signed on June 29, 1927, and its inauguration takes place on November 3.
