Description
The lordship has been mentioned since the 11th century as belonging to the Talleyrand in Périgord. In 1883, the family donated the castle to the city's hospice. The north wing, which houses the main entrance, was rebuilt at the end of the 19th century. The body of building located at the bottom of the courtyard, in the shape of a U, dates from the 15th and 16th centuries. A large square tower is southwest of the eastern wing. Built at the end of the 16th century, this tower also received, such as the rest of the building, attached roofs renovated in the 18th century. Although its furniture has been removed, the interior retains chimneys, woodwork, painted door-to-door, alcoves and ceilings with exposed beams, some of which still have traces of painted decoration.
