Description
The church was founded in 1025. An individual named Raoul de Clergoux gave half of it to the Abbey of Tulle. The other half was transferred to him in 1105. In the 14th century, it became a provost which retained its autonomy until 1731. The building, built in granite and covered with lauzes, consists of a single nave and a choir with a flat bedside, vaulted with warheads, dating from the 13th century. Three chapels open on the nave, two of which, vaulted with warheads, date from the 15th century. Access to the nave is through a 14th century broken arc door. The capitals were intended to endure the original warhead vault, which was probably carried out in the 14th and 15th centuries. Currently, the nave is covered with a modern hanging cradle.
