Toulouse : Hotel Dit de Guillaume de Bernuy, or Buet hotel

In 1536, Jean Bernuy, a pastel merchant, bought a house which he then transmitted to his eldest son, Guillaume, in 1539. In 1540 and 1544, Guillaume concluded an agreement with Nicolas Bachelier to rebuild the building. During the events of 1562, the hotel undergoes serious damage and requires significant repairs thereafter. The large front door and the windows of the facade date from the construction of 1544. The door is framed by fluted columns with Doric capitals. On the bases are garlands connected by rams. Two small Corinthian columns hold aligned with the others, facing the amounts of the first staircase window. On the cornice, a curved pediment serves as a finish. The allege of the window consists of a large stone slab on which a carved crown surrounds coat of arms. The windows display a superposition of small columns and pilasters forming two levels. Between the consoles, leaves in the shape of leaves end in grimacing patterns.
