Toulouse : Hotel

The residence was acquired in 1536 by Capitoul Pierre Parrassy in Guillaume de Tornié, who was the second president in Parliament. Upon entering the courtyard, which was previously a garden, we notice a large building on the left with a ground floor and two floors. On the eastern facade, on the ground floor, there are two Gothic crushing windows. The first floor windows were probably modified in the 18th century. The second floor still houses two Gothic style windows. The western facade also retains windows from the Gothic era. In a room on the ground floor with a French ceiling, Capitoul has erected an imposing Renaissance style fireplace. The chimney eardrum displays the Capitoul coat of arms: Azure, a wooden dove in flight holding a gold branch, surrounded below by a sea wavy of silver, with a field of azure bearing three stars of gold, all supported by a gold currency.
