Description
The upper town, located at the top of the hill, is surrounded by an enclosure comprising three doors, of which at least part of the Gallo-Roman era. This speaker is made up of three sections. The lower section consists of an irregular assembly of dry stones resting directly on the rock. Above, there is a masonry made of well-cut rubble, always arranged regularly by following the natural slope of the ground. Finally, the upper level has a masonry of less well -cut rubble, with mixed rolled stones. The intermediate section dates from the Gallo-Roman era. Rectangular spills cross the lower part. In some places, this masonry is replaced by panels including seats of regularly spaced bricks, between rows of rubble. These panels symbolize either repairs made after a seat or a restoration of the defense devices after a long period of peace.
