Description
The oldest parts of the building are the bedside and the novel style bell tower, dating from the 12th century. The nave and the aisles seem to come from the 18th and 19th centuries. Several works were carried out in 1816, 1836 and 1892. The renovations of 1892, designed according to the plans of Romestier, made it possible to build the bell tower at the level of the entrance porch and probably to modify the aisles. In 1901, openings were created to install today's stained glass. According to local tradition, the stencil -painted sets were made by Father Joseph Colombe. The aisles display geometric patterns at the base and small arcatures decorated with floral decorations on the walls. Each architectural element is highlighted by a separate pattern.
