Description
The bastide of Granada was established in 1270 by the monks of Grandselves. The construction of the church began around 1290, and the extension of the eastern gable took place at the end of the 15th century. It is a church built in bricks, with a vault with warheads. The chapels are located between the foothills. The walls have large windows with a central more and flamboyant style replacements. The bell tower, which was built after the church, is an octagonal tower of Toulouse style, comprising three floors surmounted by an arrow. Each floor is decorated with mitre and third-point twin arches, the whole being surmounted by a mitre brick arcature between corner pinnacles that surround the arrow.
