Description
In 638, a Dagobert charter mentioned the gift of this church to the abbey of Saint-Denis. Around 1107, it is owned by two knights of the Château de Nouâtre who yield it to the Noyers abbey. The original building was rebuilt in the 11th century. The nave ends with a flat bedside, while the apse is offset north. A span of the choir is surmounted by a dome based on pendants, which rely on committed columns, and the latter support double roll arcades separating the choir from the nave. Above is an octagonal bell tower of Roman Poitevin style. A small outdoor staircase tower, of round, is integrated into the corner between the apse and the nave.
