Description
In the 19th century, the engineer Panay equipped the city with a set of neo-classical buildings. The old stables are part of this major architectural project. Panay presented the plans in 1807, and the work ended in 1816. The entrance to the building, which has an almost square shape, is made by a door surrounded by solid pilasters with very protruding cornices, surmounted by a semicircular arc whose keystones are accentuated by retailers. The south side has windows of different shapes, surmounted by bricks. The interior courtyard reflects these two facades.
