Description
Built on the bases of an earlier structure which contained the relics of the first bishop of Vannes, probably destroyed at the end of the 9th or the beginning of the 10th century by the Normans, this church in the shape of a Latin cross dates back to the 11th century. After having suffered destruction in 1721 and 1726 because of storms, the building was rebuilt from 1727 according to the plans of the architect Olivier Delourme. The tower was completed in 1826 by the Brunet-Debaines architect.
