It is a house entirely made of metal, created as part of a competition organized by the Société des Forges de Strasbourg in 1927. It remained intact and preserves its interior design with a central part which leads to the other parts. The main structure (metal frame, corrugated sheet beams and sheets on the facade) as well as the interior details (metal doors and shutters) are original.
