After several projects, the realization of the hospital was assigned to the architect Alfred Normand and extends from 1878 to 1881. The construction of the chapel began in 1881 and it was blessed in 1884. The interior of the chapel was decorated with stencil paintings, and its bedside is decorated with a mosaic signed "E. Paris - 1883".
