There remains from the old plantation Gaschette that the walls of what tradition calls the "slave dungeons" and the elongated shape of the area of the domain. Although Gaschette is not a large sugar plantation, she had several installations, such as animal mills, steam wells and a boiler. These ruins represent one of the last memories of the sugar industry in this commune in the 18th century.
