Description
This emblematic building of the Renaissance period was built by Pierre d'Assézat, a merchant who became Capitoul in 1552. In 1761, he was sold to Baron de Puymaurin, who adapted him to the trends of his time. At the bottom of the courtyard, on the left, there are the two main two-story buildings, surmounted by a high ground floor, which rests on a basement. The entrance is by a porch overlooked by one floor. To the left of this porch, there is a large portico with arcades in the shape of a basket. The traffic between the different parts of the house is done upstairs of the portico, which connects the left wing and the upper floor of the entrance porch.
