Description
A Benedictine monastery was established in the 8th century and was given to the priory of Lézat in 1003. In the 12th century, after 1132, the current church was built. In the 14th century, the monastery began to deteriorate and the church only served as a parish. The building presents a clover -shaped plan and has a history porch on the south side, representing Christ in majesty surrounded by the four evangelical symbols. The bell tower has a two -arcaded facade. Inside, the apse is vaulted in oven ass, just like the two apse. The tailors, capitals, column bases and pillars are decorated with typical Roman ornaments. A restoration took place around 1880, including the demolition of the old sacristy and the construction of a new one.
