Description
Built at the end of the 17th century by Etienne de Bertier, lord of the Vernet, this flour mill consists of a single room on the ground floor: the grinding room which housed four pairs of millstones. These millstones were driven by the energy of a five-lane brought channel, supported by arches and semi-circular pillars. This channel narrowed downstream to become a three -way flight channel, under two arches surrounding a smaller. In the 1990s, the mill was restored, with upper parts in mixed materials (raw, brick and pebble earth) and inside, a glass floor which allows you to see the water bedrooms rarely visible. He continued to operate on request after the war.
