Description
The cross is older than its base, which dates back to the 17th or 18th century. It has an irregular octagonal section and has carved patterns. On the front and rear faces, each corner of the square formed by the intersection of the two branches of the cross is decorated with a ball. On the front, there is a crucified Christ surrounded by the symbols of the evangelists, each holding a phylactère. On the rear side, there is a piet at rest on a base that looks like the head of an angel between its wings. The sides of the lower branch of the cross each show a bishop, the feet resting on a pattern evoking the head of an angel. This ordeal was the processions center.
