Description
The name of Val au Houx is a variation of Val au Houlle, which comes from the name of the Houlle family, owner of the manor in the 15th century. This manor is located on the side of a fairly steep hill, overlooking a valley to the south. The main facade is oriented north and overlooks a large courtyard surrounded by annexed buildings and walls. The manor consists of three buildings aligned south of the courtyard, facing the entrance; Two of them date from the 15th century and retained their original dimensions with intact frames. The other building would be at the end of the 16th century, based on the style of the openings.
