Description
The chapel was mentioned in 1153, but seems to have been built before, in the 11th century. It consists of a main nave and, in the north, a second narrower nave. The oldest parts date back to the 11th century and are characterized by the use of river pebbles and Roman stones. The two oven ass apses are lit by a window located in their center. The entrance is by a portal to the south, preceded by a porch. The gate areas and crawlers have a polychromy effect made with red and gray sandstones. The interior of the church is decorated with paintings, including a representation of God the Father surrounded by cherubs heads, as well as decorations painted in the stencil.
