Description
A large Roman hall vaulted in the semicircular is present. In the center, a swimming pool occupies an even larger room. The ground is covered with small bricks arranged in rafters, maintained together by very fine cement. Cabinets located at various levels were connected to each other. One of them contained a white marble bathtub, and some remains of pipes are still visible. White marble plates were often used. The old structure was connected by a cylindrical vault to another building, part of which is now occupied by a church dating from the 12th century. The thermal water that fueled the bath comes from the neighboring mountain, where we can still see walls of partially overturned support and some foundations around the source.
