Description
This castle, dating from the 15th century, has a rectangular shape and has a round tower raised in every corner. It was surrounded by a second pregnant including towers and walls. In the north, a protruding building includes two rooms that were able to serve latrines. The stones and the masonry suggest three construction phases, superimposed in height. The lower part could date from the 12th or 13th century. The castle had no interior courtyard. The entrance seems to have been located in the southwest, protected by a sort of barbican. The northwest and southwest tower retain traces of 16th century paintings, some of which represent hunting scenes, love and ornamental patterns for the first, and religious scenes from the beginning of the 17th century for the second. The castle was destroyed in 1794.
