Perpignan : Museum

In 1793, the building hosted the revolutionary court. Since he was acquired by the city, he has housed the Museum of Natural History. The entrance leads to a courtyard. Above the bow in basket handle that separates the courtyard from the vestibule, an old window is decorated with covers forming small columns, with capitals decorated with foliage. This bay is protected by a protruding outdoor molding which forms, in the center, a small semi-circular pediment with dropouts. In the eardrum, an oval shield, surmounted by a profile helm, is carved with two bushy torn off, their branches intertwine and bear round fruits. Foluties of leaves frame this cartridge. The protruding outdoor molding extends to a square, vertically, to rest on consoles under which two ECUs are sculpted, presented by angels. To the right of the courtyard, when entering, a basket handcraft gives access to the stairs. After a closely rolled start, the wrought iron ramp consists of a series of large panels separated by narrow ball -shaped panels. Their size varies according to their position. The central motif is a flower with straight petals which end in half-voltages. The filling is embellished with a few curled s, while on the following flys, the same floral motif is framed by two large C surrounding leafy branches. At the level of the floor, the composition is still changing. The central panel is centered on an empty cartridge, with the same c doubles surrounding the filling. On the other two panels, the flagship evolves in a sort of slender vase, supported by curly scrolls which end with a pearl rod and fulfilled in intertwined leaves.
